The Emperor and the Senate and People of Rome expect all members of the Roman Empire to understand and adhere to the Imperial Rules and Code of Conduct stipulated below. It should be mentioned that by applying to join the Roman Empire and by joining the clan, you agree to the following rules:

  1. Harassment, bullying or personal insults of any kind will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The Roman Empire aims to create a friendly environment for all ages at all times so you should be respectful with each other in all circumstances. If you have a quarrell or problem with another member, take it up with a leadership and not attempt to resort to personal attacks.
  2. Intentionally releasing personal or private information of any member of the clan, be it their name, address or photos, is strictly forbidden and will be severely punished.
  3. Since we do not enforce a minimum age requirement, it is important to be mindful of this and not share graphical content of any sort that would be unsuitable for this younger audience.
  4. Try to avoid talking over each other or shouting each other down in Teamspeak. If one person is talking, let him finish before attempting your own contribution.
  5. In all manners concering your own personal behaviour, please utilise simple common sense. If you have any queries regarding a certain member or a certain behaviour, bring it up with a leadership but in most cases, treat others as you would expect to be treated yourself.
  6. While there is no age limit, those that wish to join the Roman Empire that are under the age of 16 must wait to be accepted by a higher leadership member before being allowed to join. They may also be requested to not use their voice in certain circumstances that will be told to them in the moment.
  7. It is necessary to listen and obey the commands of the leadership whenever they are given in a formal situation. Failure to do so can result in consequences.
  8. When online and playing in multiplayer, please make sure you are also online on TS and that you are utilising clan tags so that you can be identified and others can come and join you if they so wish. Remember that you serve as a representative of the clan when you are playing online and are expected to follow that server's rules.

If you have any questions regarding any of these rules and codes of conduct, speak to a member of the leadership with your specific complaint.
